Creamy Sweet Potato and Carrot Puree


  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
  • Water for steaming


  1. Begin by preparing your ingredients. Peel and dice the sweet potato and peel and slice the carrot.
  2. Add water to the reservoir level 1 of your Beaba Babycook 
  3. Place the sweet potato and carrot pieces in the steaming basket of the Babycook.
  4. Close the lid securely and select the steam function on the Babycook. Steam the vegetables until they are tender, usually for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once the vegetables are cooked, carefully remove the steaming basket from the Babycook and transfer the cooked sweet potato and carrot to the blending bowl.
  6. Use the blending function on the Babycook to puree the vegetables until smooth and creamy. You can add a little water or breast milk/formula to achieve your desired consistency.
  7. Once the puree reaches the desired consistency, transfer it to a bowl or storage container.
  8. Allow the puree to cool before serving to your baby. You can store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze them in ice cube trays for future use.
