Sweet Potato and Apple Puree


  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced
  • Water for steaming


  1. Begin by preparing your ingredients. Peel and dice the sweet potato and apple.
  2. Add water to level 1 on the reservoir of your Beaba Babycook 
  3. Place the diced sweet potato and apple in the steaming basket of the Babycook.
  4. Close the lid securely and select the steam function on the Babycook. Steam the sweet potato and apple until they are tender, usually for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once the sweet potato and apple are cooked, carefully remove the steaming basket from the Babycook and transfer the cooked ingredients to the blending bowl.
  6. Use the blending function on the Babycook to puree the sweet potato and apple until smooth and creamy. You can add a little water or breast milk/formula to achieve your desired consistency.
  7. Once the puree reaches the desired consistency, transfer it to a bowl or storage container.
  8. Allow the puree to cool before serving to your baby. You can store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze them in ice cube trays for future use.
