A fun take on the classic mash! Purple potatoes offer an extra boost of antioxidants known as anthocyanin.
Ingredients
                    - 2 purple potatoes, sliced into chunks
 - 1/2 tsp salt
 - 1/2 tsp pepper
 - 1/3 cup milk
 - 2 garlic cloves
 - 1 tbsp butter
 - Olive oil drizzled
 
Directions
                                            Step 1
                            
                                Place the potatoes into the steam basket. Steam on water level 3.                            
                                                    Step 2
                            
                                Once finished, transfer the potatoes into the blending bowl.                            
                                                    Step 3
                            
                                Place the salt, pepper, milk, garlic, butter in the blending bowl.                            
                                                    Step 4
                            
                                Pulse blend to puree until thoroughly mixed, adding in more milk if needed.                            
                                                    Step 5
                            
                                Once mixed, take out and place into serving bowl.                             
                                                    Step 6
                            
                                Top with additional salt, pepper and spices. Drizzle olive oil if desired.
