It uses a dedicated mobile app available on Android and iOS, giving you on-the-go and reliable communication from your smartphone or tablet. The video is accessible via any Wi-Fi or 4G network, which means you're not limited to a fixed range inside the home you can check in on your baby from the backyard, the office, or anywhere else with a data connection. One practical note: 5G networks are not currently supported, so if your phone automatically connects to a 5G network, you may need to switch to 4G or Wi-Fi to use the app. The camera itself must remain plugged into mains power during use, so factor this in when choosing where to position it in the nursery

Multiple functions are built in including a walkie-talkie, thermometer, 2x zoom, lullabies, and video recording — all controllable from the app. The temperature sensor is particularly useful in Australia's variable climate for keeping the nursery within the recommended safe sleep range overnight
