Vegetable Puree

PURÉE OF VEGETABLES  - A simple recipe to introduce vegetables to your little one with a litte fruit for sweetness

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup pumpkin cubed
1/3 cup pear cubed
1/3 cup apple cubed
1 cup red potato cubed
1 teaspoon shallot outer layer removed, sliced
1 teaspoon Butter
pinch ground white pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:
Put the pumpkin, pear, apple, red potato and green onion in Babycook steamer basket.
Pour water into tank (level 3).
Start the cooking process.
When the fruits and vegetables are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
Pulse twice, adding 2 tablespoons of cooking juices between pulses to obtain a thin purée, or add 1 tablespoon of cooking juice for a thicker purée.
Serve with butter, olive oil and small pinch of ground pepper to taste.
