KALE AND BERRY SMOOTHIE
What could be better than a nutrient-packed fruit smoothie for breakfast? This smoothie is extra energizing. Chia seeds or flax seeds can be added in for a boost of omega fatty acids
Ingredients:
1 cup loosely packed kale, 1/2 cup apple cubed, 1 cup blackberries (or mixed berries) frozen, 1/2 - 1 cup orange juice, 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions:
Put all the fruit (except juices) in the blending bowl. Pulse to blend, gradually adding orange and lime juice. Enjoy as a smoothie or pour mixture into Multiportions and freeze for approximately 30 minutes, or until firmly set but not completely frozen
